We don't live in church, we live among people, and though the church building has become a meeting place, the Lord desires to walk among people and demonstrate His grace and love for them.
Hang on in there brothers and sisters if you are going through difficult times, they have a purpose and the Lord WILL bring you through. When He has tried me, I shall come forth as gold.
I was reciting Psalm 139 in my head and came to the part of the verse – “if I make my bed in hell”. I thought, does it really say that, or have I got it wrong?, 'if I make my bed'! I must check. So of course later I checked. Yes, it says 'If I make MY bed'!

I had been thinking in particular about the verse above, "Herein is my Father glorified, in that you bear much fruit" and that love, joy, peace, gentleness, meekness, longsuffering, etc., which are all wonderful things to have in one's life, and that this brings glory to God, in that all the glory is His.... who loved us, saved us and has given us the Holy Spirit. Just thinking on this; that this is His desire for all His children, and it is the direct consequence of all that the Lord Jesus has done for us, and how such a life glorifies God and is both blessed and a blessing.
